The Department of Civil Engineering is dedicated to educating engineers who can contribute to the development of safe, sustainable and resilient infrastructure. Our approach connects engineering fundamentals with the real challenges of planning, designing, constructing and maintaining the built environment.

Students are encouraged to learn beyond the classroom through surveying practice, material testing, field visits, structural analysis, design projects, modern construction techniques and industry interaction. The department also promotes awareness of sustainable construction, environmental responsibility and emerging technologies that are transforming the infrastructure sector.

Our goal is to develop competent, responsible and solution-oriented civil engineers capable of shaping better communities and supporting the nation’s infrastructure development.
